Brief

Develop a cohesive, playful and nature-inspired visual identity for The North Face Kids that celebrates exploration and discovery, encouraging young adventurers to connect with nature.

Objective

Increase brand awareness and engagement among The North Face youth.

Role

Responsible for iterating logos, color exploration, mockups, and producing visual assets that aligned with The North Face Kids' brand identity.

Ideation

Drawing inspiration from The North Face brand mark, we developed a visual system that embraced organic forms found in nature. With softer weights, lowercase letters, and playful shapes, this design adds a childlike charm that conveys a vibrant identity, capturing the essence of the brand’s spirit of exploration and imagination.

Brand Elements

A set of icons were created to accompany the primary lockup and can be used in various ways to introduce a natural and playful tone.

Outcome

The final logo and visual system capture the joy of exploration and enhances children's natural curiosity. The deliverables inspire a new generation of adventurers to go out outside and embody The North Face Kids' brand spirit.
